Zetas in England
We are a group of women working together to bring about a positive change in the U.K.'s communities. We come together to be social and to serve our communities through volunteer work and fundraising. In addition, we also have a space for men within the community that want to serve with us, the Zeta Male Network.
History
Falling under the Atlantic Region of the wider sorority, the Alpha Alpha Eta Zeta chapter was chartered on 12 March 2014 in London, England, by eight distinguished women. These women were: April Dunham-Rhett, Crystal Ballard, Erica Robinson, Romanda Dillon, Sauyna Bright-Howard, Tasha McFarlande, Vanessa Mcnfee, and Vickie Bannerman.
Our chapter arose from a need to support Sorors who had permanently moved to England or were temporarily living in England via their affiliation with U.S. military services. Over the years, we have been fortunate to have our membership grow to include Sorors who have always called England home but rightfully recognised that that they were aligned with the universal principles and motto of our organisation.
The nickname "Zetas in England" - represents our status as a country-wide chapter and our belonging to the global network of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
